Visually conveying complicated documents, data, and demographic research that are essential to detailed journalistic reporting.

Working with editorial producers and journalists, we create supporting graphics which were included in stories for the daily news report.

A daily responsibility was working on ‘over the shoulder’ graphics which are used to introduce each story in the nightly broadcast.

These graphics needed to be finished and exported by noon everyday before the anchor and studio started recording.

I created background graphics for NJ PBS’ Chat Box NJ Decide Special for the 2024 Senatorial election.

Background features needed to be consistent across multiple shots and account for seating of each candidate as they conversed on various issues that affect NJ voters.

The full illustration was segmented, creating cropped separate exports for each shot.
